Something wonderful came in the mail today

September 20, 2010 by admin

Something wonderful things came in the mail this morning.  Today is my 30th Birthday, so there were lots of cards, a child benefit cheque, some cloth to make Rebecca a quilt and this:

A perfectly tiny bunny!
After making the decision to move all our seeds over to Etsy, I started exploring and playing around with all the neat features this platform offers.
One of the best things you can do as a seller with Etsy is to make treasuries. Essentially you curate little collections of your favourite finds, usually on a theme.  I kept coming back to this one little item and made kept making treasuries including it.  After repeatedly promoting it, I finally broke down and bought it before someone else did.
Maisey Handmade is a Canadian seller based out of Alberta and I highly recommend you check out her shop. Not only is this tiny tiny bunny very cute, its stitched together perfectly.
Its for Rebecca’s Christmas stocking, so please don’t spoil the surprise.
In other treasury related news, Cubit’s was included in this great treasury that made the front page yesterday.  Hilariously, my email crashed due to the site update so I didn’t see the orders coming in until this morning.
